Zahren Financial Co, LLC (“ZFC”), the Manager of Clean Feet Investors I, LLC (“CFI”) is proud to announce a $7,000.00 matching donation to the Union of Concerned Scientists (“UCS”). The donation, made by ZFC from the Management Fees earned by running CFI, resulted from matching voluntary gifts to UCS in late 2017 by a number of individual investors in the Clean Feet Investors I, LLC Fund.
Bernie Zahren, CEO of ZFC, stated: “The Union of Concerned Scientists is a beacon of clear and honest scientific exploration of topics related to Climate Change and other critical issues for our troubled planet. Our CFI investors are to be commended in sharing their financial returns from CFI with UCS.”
The 2017 matching gift initiative for Clean Feet Investors was an initial trial effort to support one specific non-profit, the UCS. ZFC intends to explore how creative links between investments in sustainability and the NGO community could be brought together in a more meaningful expression of gratitude toward these essential activist groups in future years.

Clean Feet Investors I, LLC is managed by ZFC and was closed to new investors in 2016. To date approximately $30,000,000 of capital from qualified accredited investors and reinvestment of several asset sales, has been placed in operating assets by ZFC with eleven different partner companies. ZFC has made regular quarterly cash distributions to investors who embrace the concept of “Doing Well by Doing Good” since inception of the CFI offering in 2010.
