The Private Placement offering will include new options for supporting NGO’s addressing the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Creation of a CFI Foundation is being considered as part of the expanded mission to help all life on our planet from the disastrous consequences of Climate Change.

About the Partnership for Responsible Growth (PRG)
PRG was founded in 2015 to help develop and build broad bipartisan support for a national climate program that addresses the serious risks climate change poses to the economic and environmental well-being of our country. Any climate program strong enough to decarbonize our economy by 2050 must have a price on carbon at its core, though it will also need to include a suite of other measures to reduce greenhouse gases particularly from transportation, agriculture, and buildings. And it must be equitable, promote economic growth, and be durable in the face of inevitable shifts in political winds. We organize and promote thorough and thoughtful discussion among a broad range of stakeholders about (1) the details of an effective and comprehensive national climate program, (2) what it will take to build broad public support, and (3) how to ensure fair treatment for those most affected.
About the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF)
EDF is one of the world’s largest environmental organizations, with more than 2.5 million members and a staff of scientists, economists, policy experts, and other professionals around the world. They believe prosperity and environmental stewardship must go hand in hand and building strong partnerships across interests ensures lasting success. EDF addresses today’s most urgent environmental challenges working in partnership with others and focus where best positioned to help, based on their strengths.
About the National Resources Defense Council (NRDC)
NRDC works to safeguard the earth—its people, its plants and animals, and the natural systems on which all life depends. NRDC combines the power of more than three million members and online activists with the expertise of some 700 scientists, lawyers, and policy advocates across the globe to ensure the rights of all people to the air, the water, and the wild.
About the Union of Concerned Scientists (USC)
UCS puts rigorous, independent science to work to solve our planet’s most pressing problems. Joining with people across the country, they combine technical analysis and effective advocacy to create innovative, practical solutions for a healthy, safe, and sustainable future. In today’s polarized political environment, UCS leads with solutions: helping communities and elected officials find the best ways to respond to the consequences of climate change, cut our oil or fossil fuels use in half, ramp up renewable energy, reduce the threat from nuclear weapons, build a healthier food system, and much more. They believe that scientific analysis—not political calculations or corporate hype—should guide government policies.
About the Sierra Club Foundation and Sierra Club Connecticut (SCF) and (SCC)
The SCF and SCC promote efforts to educate and empower people to protect and improve the natural and human environment. They partner with individual and institutional donors to align financial resources with strategic outcomes, provide flexible funding for innovation, build capacity in the environmental movement, and create partnerships with a broad spectrum of allied organizations around shared values and goals. As the fiscal sponsor of the charitable programs of the Sierra Club, they provide resources to it and other nonprofit organizations to support scientific, educational, literary, organizing, advocacy, and legal programs that further their goals.
People’s Action for Clean Energy (PACE)
PACE is a public health and environmental organization formed in 1973 by a group of concerned Connecticut citizens. Our mission is to transition Connecticut to clean energy through grassroots education and advocacy. Through our 100PercentCT Project, they are developing viable plans for individual towns to move to 100% renewable energy. PACE is the largest all volunteer organization in the state engaged with these issues, and its members are active at public events, legislative hearings and environmental forums, both in person and on state and local television and radio.
